PRICING AND PROCESS

Psst. Hey! I'm so happy you're here.

I try to keep this as simple as possible, but different people have different needs so it's not all one size fits all.

How does this work?

For all of the sessions, even if you book online, we'll have a conversation (the consult) about what I can do for you and what you're interested in doing with your photos. Consult makes it sound fancy, but it's a really just a conversation to get you the best possible results ... so you're happy! I want you to be happy.

If you want a big photo of your family over your mantel, or 3 panels of your kids on a wall, then you'll be happier if I make a beautiful custom version for you and come hang it, than if I send you off with files and you never get around to printing it yourself. haha No judgement. We're all busy and easily distracted. I know how life happens.

On the other hand, if you're looking for high resolution images from the beginning, then you don't want me trying to sell you large wall art at the reveal. Or maybe you don't know exactly what the options are or what you want and you need some help.

In all cases, a simple conversation to set work on ideas, plan, and set expectations at the beginning is the way. We can do it in person or on the phone.

What's a reveal? We go through your photos together when they're ready. This one is for both of us. For you, it's so I can help you choose photos and plan any wall art or books or whatever you want to do with them. We'll make it happen. It's a reveal AND ordering appointment. It's follow-through to make sure you have a good experience. If you only wanted high resolution files from the beginning, no worries. I'm not going to push you at all, because I don't like that either. But the reveal is also for me. Part of the reason I do this is that I love the connection. If I'm not there when you see the photos, then it feels disconnected and unfinished for me as well. It's rewarding to see your reactions to the photos. And then, I'm sure you're happy with what we've done.

There's a price list, and I offer standard and non-standard print sizes and all kinds of wall art and all, but I'm also an artist and I love making custom things, so if you have a weird shaped space or a giant wall or want something totally different, then being there for the whole process allows these things to happen as well.

I offer studio portraiture, family photos, senior photo sessions, and headshots. The studio is in Corrales at 4686 Corrales Road.

FAQ

Do you photograph weddings?

I love weddings, but I don't photograph traditional full length days anymore. I may not be able to resist a shorter day or weddings with really fun ideas though. One of my weddings had circus performers on stilts! If you're doing something wonderfully weird that I can't pass up or you're here in Corrales, let's talk about it!

Where are you based and do you travel?

I'm in Corrales, NM and I will travel. There are travel fees for areas outside of a radius of 50 miles from Corrales.

When will we get our photos?

We'll make an appointment to meet at the studio and look at your photos. Usually within two to three weeks after your session. After that you'll receive an online gallery link with your photos. You can download photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and order prints!

How many pictures will we receive?

Depends on the session. 15 from the 30 minute family sessions, and 35-40 from the 2 hour family sessions. 20-35 for senior sessions. 3 for headshot sessions. For weddings or other events, generally 50-75 photos per hour. I prefer to give quality over quantity. I love online galleries for ease of access and social media sharing. Personally though, I'd rather you have a few gorgeous prints that you love hanging in your home than 100 photos sitting in a drive that you'll look at a few times and then never again because they're out of sight, out of mind.
